Josh Ruben is a 5-time Webby award winning actor, writer, and director best known for appearing in and/or directing thousands of shorts for comedy megasite, CollegeHumor. Josh recently directed episodes of the Netflix action/comedy series, "The Green Beret's Guide To Surviving: The Apocalypse" executive produced by Matt Damon & Peter Berg. Josh has also directed sketches for "The Late Late Show" with James Corden and commercials for Geico, Comedy Central, Lucky Charms, Michaels, The Bronx Zoo, and tons more.

Josh was recently selected to participate in the 2018 Just for Laughs New Faces Creators panel. He is listed in Paste Magazine’s “The 15 Best You Made It Weird Episodes” in reference to a 2-hour interview where Josh and Pete Holmes (HBO's "Crashing") do ridiculous impressions, warranting its own Thanksgiving re-release on Nerdist. Josh's podcast, The Mindhouse, part of Jake & Amir’s HeadGum network, debuted its first live show at SXSW in March 2016.

Josh was the subject of two Splitsider articles: “Josh Ruben Should Be a Snapchat Superstar" and the other singing praises of his short film, FREDDY DERRYL: "Like Fargo, Freddy Derryl boasts a quiet, inimitable indigenousness that could’ve only come to hilarious fruition in these sets of hands." Josh appeared opposite Adam Devine in Season 3 of "Adam Devine’s House Party" on Comedy Central, as the son of Chris Elliott and Amy Sedaris in Go90's "Thanksgiving" and co-stars in feature indie, "What Children Do", an official selection of the 2017 Cinequest Film Festival, as well as the upcoming dark indie comedy, "Greener Grass" based on the award-winning short film. Josh is currently in pre-production for his feature film debut - "SCARE ME" - a comedic thriller which he wrote and will direct & co-star. Production begins December 2018.
